I’m new to trip advisor and found this place on here, brilliant service! Will be going again. Great coffee and the staff were lovely

A family gathering of 10’people was catered for brilliantly by Zoe and her team. All 10 meals came out together and everyone enjoyed their food. Our visitors from Portsmouth enjoyed the northern hospitality.

Jen and Evan was amazing at serving and made us feel very welcome. Kieran offered us a range of shots when asking for. Really appreciated. Was at quiz night with kat as the host. Absolute love. Vibes where brill. View menu

Love this pub, and the new manager has transformed it into what it should be. The service is on point, the friendliness is great and the food is worth a visit. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a great visit.

Came for a Friday night meal with friends. Kieran looked after us all evening and was superb throughout. The pizzas are amazing! I went for the four cheese pizza which was delicious. Great pub for either food or just a drink. I’ll definitely come back

Gave the Tuesday quiz a try holy moley what a farce! Googling teams weren't in it ! Pretty much every table were at it. The music round was 10 country songs ask yourself would your 21 yr sibling know 16 tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford? Well a table of young students did... really ? Very handy that Shazam, the HT chips were undercooked cold, the bread was nice tho bought 20 mins earlier from local shop! We didn't bother staying for play cards right it was gone 11 had to be up for work. Wont be returning. Bye

The Withy Arms is back, Thanks to Zoe and her fab team. Decided to try this place again after a few people had said its new manager had revived it, and they were not wrong. Came on a Saturday afternoon about 3ish for a late lunch/early tea. We ordered the garlic mushrooms starter, Broccoli soup, fish strips, halloumi fries, gammon, chicken kiev and pork in a creamy pepper sauce as a table and it was all freshly cooked and superb, not a complaint to be had. The service was prompt, polite and Zoe and the team are really lovely. Will definitely be one of my go to locals now after avoiding it for the last couple of years. View menu
