Good menu without too many choices, well cooked and served up by nice friendly staff. Reasonably priced for a nice night out. Warm and cosy environment for couples or groups.

We visit the bistro every year as part of our weekend in Macclesfield experience and have never been let down. Great choice on the menu. Fabulously presented food, excellent value wines and perfect service. A must visit if you are in Macclesfield. Thanks for not changing and see you soon.

An outstanding dining experience. The service was not only excellent, but the food was also delicious. We were treated to a complimentary wine glass, palette cleansers, and sample dishes. The king prawn starter, duck leg main, and sticky toffee dessert stood out as some of the best on an already exquisite menu. 5/5 View menu

What a fantastic find. This restaurant was excellent, so good in fact that we returned the following evening. The Fillet steak was probably the best steak I have ever eaten, simply perfect, as was everything else. Great wine too. The staff were very polite, helpful and charming. Thank you all. We will definitely be recommending you.

Usual high standard of hospitality and a nice ambience. Good wine at a reasonable price. Food on the whole was very good but we both commented that the risotto dish ended up being a creamy liquid over the rice. I always clear the plate but this was a challenge, so sickly. Many options, I guess I just chose the wrong dish on this occasion.

Outstanding welcome, food and tastes. The King prawn starters were juicy and tasty. The Duck Confit was juicy and tender with delicious sauce. Unexpected, but most welcome were interesting and, imaginative “amuse bouches” to start with while our meal choice was being prepared. Good value for quality but don’t come here for a cheap, huge portion. although we had no room for a dessert. Quality. Not quantity. Highly recommended View menu
