"Popped in here for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Definitely the best roast I've eaten from a pub/restaurant, loads of veg, well cooked meat and the gravy was amazing. The rest of the table had skewers, mixed grill l, chicken burger and bangers and mash....all eaten and they loved every bit of it. To top it off, a **** good pint of ale and some good ones to choose from as well. We're only up the road, so we'll definitely be back there more often. Especially for the roast lamb..."

A small, lovely pub. The food was good and not too simple nor was it pretentious. The crowd was even friendly to a few Americans sitting in the corner. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

There are 3 nice things and 3 big problems. Very nice team, perfect atmosphere and pub good with people and dogs. Food was available plus. Sunday roast Lamb was chuwy, veggies not done nicely and not very good value. I would have a word with the chef if I could Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
