4 of us stopped over for a meal friendly waitress nice bar guy but god get a better chef had scampi old refried chips and cold peas no salad had better at a truck stop

Stopped here as part of the pub motorhome stopovers and it has to be some of the best food I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. The staff weee super friendly. Can’t speak highly enough of this place

I recently enjoyed one of the best homemade steak pies I have ever tasted. It was packed full of meat and absolutely delicious. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed her mac and cheese. Overall, we had a fantastic meal. View menu

Great staff very friendly food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. If you are going to Port Lympne Safari Park go here for lunch or dinner much better service and a lot cheaper than eating at the zoo . It’s only 3 mins away by car. We had three main meals and two kids meals and the food came to £41 pounds. Fantastic burgers. Good range of beers.

Went for the set Christmas meal, as a team of 9. on entering it was cold and we were seated by the door, it was frosty and freezing out, so would have been nice to have had a warm cozy welcome.. Menu choice was good two or three courses.. £30 three courses.. food was not very hot, but plenty of it, fresh vegetables was nice.. Chocolate fudge cake was underwhelming

Superb Food. For 18 years we have passed this pub and only today actually gone it. What a wasted 18 years. I had a delicious home made steak and ale pie with mash whilst my wife had a lovely home made cheese and bacon burger. For deserts one of the best crumbles ive ever had and a delightful caramel cheesecake. Service was friendly and efficient and pub really clean. Looks like we have found a new local for food. A lovely traditional village pub, with friendly staff serving generous portions of homemade food. We ordered our starters followed by a piping hot homemade pie. When combined with the sizeable portion of fresh veg we were left struggling to squeeze in their special dessert. Somehow we managed and left the pub already planning our next visit. The County Members is a perfect spot to eat if you've been visiting the Wildlife Park or on your way home from a day at the coast. You won't be disappointed.

While staying nearby, we came across positive reviews for this pub and decided to have a family meal here. The bar lady and manager were incredibly friendly and welcoming, inviting our children to play pool to keep them entertained. They made us feel relaxed, as if we were regulars at the pub. We left thinking about how much we would love to live in the area just to frequent this pub. I highly recommend The County Members for their food and hospitality – 5 stars all around. Last night, a group of 9 of us dined at The County Members. Kirsty and Pat had beautifully decorated the table with banners and balloons, adding a nice touch to our evening. They were attentive throughout the night, and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate our various dietary needs. The food was excellent - we enjoyed dishes such as Filled Yorkie, Steak and Ale Pie, and Fish Pie, all of which were tasty and satisfying. The fresh vegetables served on the side were plentiful.
