"We visited this cafe for a Devon cream tea! Situated in a quaint part of town. We are a family of 5 and our youngest son is in a wheelchair. The access was great and we were seated straight away. Beautifully decorated inside and very...clean. I have coeliac disease and they had gf scones, my cream tea was delicious!! The jam homemade too! The children enjoyed the chocolate cake. Nothing was too much trouble. It was very reasonably priced and seemed popular with the locals! The menu looked varied and delicious as were the cakes! Well worth a visit!"

the look out on fresh homemade cream tees was thrilled and the cream tea cafe not disappointed! with freshly baked brot, which was made on the ground for her sandwiches and the lightest scenes I've ever had, this wonderful caffe hidden on a side street...in barnstaple is worth a visit!

After visiting the Pannier Market, we wandered outside and saw the sign to the Cream Tea Cafe could not resist the lunchtime special of Quiche, new potatoes, salad and coleslaw followed by meringue with berry compote and clotted cream. All beautifully served, lovely friendly...atmosphere.

woof! what a sound. not an extensive menu, but what they do, they do brilliant. friendly little caffe. the daily specialty was cheerful and tasty and the toastia, fresh made to order was a hit with my wife. we had not intended to have dessert, but the rich was too tempting, and the treacle darts and rhabarb crumbs were not disappointed. fabtastic!

Close by the Panier market we stumbled across this by chance and what good luck it was. There were 6 of us and the owners were very accommodating setting up a table for us, with a warm welcome. Menu choices were very good and the...daily specials were exciting. The food served was simply delicious and they bake their own bread, best lunch we've had in a long time. Can't recommend this cafe enough.

we were looking for an independent caffe for afternoon tea on our day trip to barnstaple. this caffe appeared on our Google search, and we were pleased to find it still open, quite late on Friday, when other places closed. the Skorn...was fresh, the jam delicious, and the servings of jam and saw were generous. the other cakes we had were just as delicious, and the milkshakes were very enjoyed by the teenagers! we had a warm greeting and would highly recommend a visit.

Located next to the town market off Butchers way. A family run coffee shop serving light lunches, cake and various drinks. We had home made soup and cream tea. Both were full of taste. Service was quick and friendly and nothing was a problem. I...was tempted to have a piece of cake to take away. All were fresh and tasty. Although a small space , it was was nicely decorated and was very family friendly with comprehensive facilities, obviously designed by a mum and dad. The whole experience was very enjoyable, would definitely recommend.
