"this is the best place for a Sunday dinner without asking. right home cooked eating that is delicious, a great choice from the menu with fantastic service from the personal. many nice are brought to the table so that they can help themselves. A lovely little traditional village pub, great atmosphere and dog friendly, with a great selection of guest ales on tap and also the infamous burton bridge dba."

I too found that the blonde lady was not interested in customer service. We'll be searching for a different pub next time.

Excellent choice of beers, very well kept. Service very good too. The main room was very busy, so we sat outside for our drinks on both visits. A first class pub

Visited with friends for the first time, had Sunday Lunch, excellent quality, service and price, would highly recommend. Booking essential, can't wait to go back

Enjoyed a relaxing Sunday lunch time in the beer garden. Didn’t eat here but the smells coming from the kitchen told me it should be good. The views over the valley towards Hatton were breathtaking. Will be eating next time when time allows.

My father and I travelled especially to enjoy a pint of DBA. We patiently waited until the pub opened at 5 and the lady behind the bar was instantly rude and unwelcoming towards us. We felt like we an inconvenience to her. We therefore took...our custom elsewhere and we shall not be visiting again.

Popped in for a few pints as we were walking the dogs. The staff were very friendly the choice of drinks were very good for a smaller free house. The restaurant is open later In the week and weekends. We’ve had the Sunday dinners before...and it’s all home cooked not of that frozen pre cooked rubbish. On the hole it’s a very good and friendly local pub .
