Delicious Sunday roast! Loads of veg (broccoli, carrots, leeks in white sauce and gorgeous cauliflower cheese! and homemade Yorkshire pud

Had some nice ale, and a very good lunch I had the fish and chips very nice and my wife had the fish pie very taste looking forward to going back soon, staff very helpful.

The 2 for £12 meal deal offered during specific times was excellent value for money. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The service was superb and the restaurant had a lovely ambiance.

Table booked for 13 Inc vegan and vegetarian, children for Sunday lunch. Offering a great range of roast dinner Inc multiple meats and other options. Slight delay for pudding but worth the wait. We all enjoyed out meals, the roast is huge, cauliflower cheese too! Great vegan choice menu Inc desserts. Can be hard to find but worth the search.

For starters, I had the halloumi while two of my friends shared a baked Camembert, both of which were delicious. We all opted for the Kiev for our main course, which we thoroughly enjoyed. This is a second visit and I wanted to make sure that a standard could be kept up for several weeks before I posted. Seafood Linguine with selection of ingredients second to none,some unusual including cuttlefish;then clams plus mussels ,shrimps etc.In a magnificent slightly chilli sauce on a bed of lingerie with crumbled green herbs ,I am not a seafood fan but I loved this and it saved a trip to Manningtree (nearest Italian). Will go again. Previously I had wild mushroom taglietelli, so good I went home and recreated it.

Dragged to venue by wild horses kicking and screaming following previous terrible experiences Low and Behold a miracle has taken place, I had wild mushroom taglietelli, senior management had Chicken Carbonara. Absolutely brilliant, my taglietelli was thick and broad unlike supermarket brands the mushrooms I had never seen before herbed up spiced up plus I added cayenne pepper. I am going to book again. I tasted the governor's carbonara which for me an be over eggy, but no it was brilliant and I Will have it next time. Harwich has needed Italian restaurant, with extra dishes Crown Post could crack this market.

This place is a revelation. You can tell the reception is a Phoenix of The Hanover fire, but the greeting was very pleasant and the staff very friendly. Indeed, wanting to go to the cinema after, the lady chef took our food order before we came, and it was served promptly, even though we arrived early. The waiter was friendly and prompt. The food was lovely and of a very high standard, with a wide choice of starters and mains, plus specials. We didn't have room for deserts, which has a good variety.
