Surprising pub in a building that is almost 400 years old. Good atmosphere. Eating is upstairs via a staircase. Walls are authentic clay and wood.

The roast dinners were amazing, very tasty goos value and huge. Best I've had in years. Will be back again soon to try some more of your menu. Thank you

Great Roast and really lovely staff. We ate outside and every staff member who csme and served us had a conversation with us Dog got treated very well too . Will definitely be back .

Doesn't look like much from outside but came for a Sunday roast and the restaurant bit is upstairs. Very old tutor building and massive roast, thought the kids ones were for us. Very good grub!

Good food and a great set-up in an old building. Only issue was we were the only ones in the restaurant. Its not their fault, but would like me people to go. Would definitely go back for the food. View menu

Whitenesed a staff member (young girl with blonde hair) calling a customer names infront of me and another table of school teachers, very rude and very unprofessional will never go here again absolutely appalling.

Super nice landlady, totally child-friendly. He thought along and offered to make a larger portion of chicken nuggets and chips and share it with the children. The food was also really tasty and it was great to sit upstairs. We felt very comfortable.

Stumbled upon this little pub when visiting the town. Very welcoming. We had a drink in the bar and booked a table for our evening meal. Very historic old building with plenty of stories attached to it. Food was all homemade and delicious. We had the chicken with chips and salad and Fish Pie. Will go again for sure. Would recommend.
