"The new owners here have excelled themselves!! Popped in with my partner yesterday for lunch before the school run with the dog, really friendly staff, great new look and the food was amazing I stayed with the dog and the kids came after school because the atmosphere for a Friday afternoon evening was safe and pleasant, back garden and all the work, spot on! I called the neighbours up and had a dad's night and left eventually around 10.30pm really happy to have a great village pub back, dog and child friendly with awesome grub, thanks to all the staff for a great time, see you soon"

Nice staff but had Christening on asked for food 12.30pm but said chef was helping Christening no problem Iver an hour later could we have our roasts please Nice school dinner

The new owners have made a positive impact since taking over the restaurant. Unfortunately, they have removed Joe and her popular breakfast takeaway service, which was greatly valued by the village. Joe's service was a breath of fresh air, and we hope that the new owners will bring the same positive energy to our community.

pub could do with a small dc, but absolutely beautiful Sunday roast at the cheapest price I have ever seen. everyone had another choice of roast meat (bark, lamb, pork) and all said they melt in mouth. large selection of fresh spring vegetables, crunchy bratkartoffels with fluffy centers and fantastic engraving. also had dessert crumble and custard. what a certain second visit to the horizon.
