"For those who wants to order their EARLY BIRDS, don 't only ask the waiter girls, ask the cashier. They CHANGED the early bird timing by pen in their menu from 6.30pm to 6pm. We reached around 5.48pm and seated around 5.50pm. The waiters seemed to ignore you (we tried to raise/wave our hands several times) until near 6pm. When they finally wanted to take order, we asked the girl whether we could still enjoy the early bird set and she said 'yes '. After dinner, the cashier told us that we could not get the early bird set because the order timing in their system passed 6pm. The ambience of the pub is good and relaxing. The location is strategic, near the lake. Most of the foods were delicious, the mussel starter was very good with only 1-2 unopened. The chicken rotisserie was a good one. The burger patties were moist and tasty. The sausage was good and I liked its sides. The pork was tender and could be counted as the best dish that we had in this pub. The sticky toffee pudding was very tasty."

The food is average at best and too expensive. The service was quick but lacking enthusiasm. I won't be coming back. Save your money.

Really nice pub, we sat where it was waitress service. Very good atmosphere. We had Gammon, egg and chips and scampi and chips which also had a lovely salad and dressing. All very tasty

This bar is a great spot to grab a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, it was quite crowded and there was a 40-minute wait for food. We were too hungry to wait, but the food looked tempting.

Had food and drinks here whilst visiting the area for a few days. The pub is lovely, dog friendly and the staff are all really nice. The food was fab and very well priced. Halloumi fries were exceptional! Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. View menu

Not good food. We had fish chips which were very over cooked and dry. The mushy peas were a lump of cold green stuff!! Mussels were sent back as cold! Service was okay. Sausage mash was passable, just. Would definitely not be visiting again and would not recommend.

Its a pub and its menu is a) unclear on pricing when it comes to offers and b) is charging more than Dishoom, Flat Iron, Gloria. £18 for a fish n chips is outrageous lol. Otherwise, its pub food, tastes like pub food, shouldnt be trying to be anything more than a pub.

The menu offers a good variety of options, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly. They are welcoming to families with dogs and despite it being a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was bustling with customers. It's clear that this is a popular spot and I would definitely visit again. Good Sunday roasts at a good price. I had an issue with my dessert but this was promptly removed from the bill with plenty apologies from the waiting staff. The music in the dining area was a bit loud, although I’d imagine it would have been turned down if I had asked. Would happily visit here again.

Great pub atmosphere, friendly staff and nice beer. The food is borderline awful though. We had a large group of 10 eating and 6 of the 10 meals were dry, stale and bland. Half rotisserie chicken was well over cooked and chips were stale. Burgers were dry, bland and burnt with stale chips. Ribs were dry. I suspect most food is cooked and reheated to order and they get away with it due to tourist trade.

"We were sure to book ahead for a table of 4 for 5.15 as it was a late Sunday roast we were fully aware that not everything would be available so it was no surprise when we were told that there was only gammon left for the roast option however there was still fish and chips homemade steak pie or vegetable lasagne. We happily opted for 3 gammon roast dinners and a homemade steak pie with mash (you get the choice of which potato you'd like) The food arrived piping hot with plenty of everything and it was so so tasty you could really tell everything was lovingly made from scratch for the roast the potatoes came both roasted and mashed with cauliflower, broccoli and carrot and swede mash. A generous helping of gammon and a large Yorkshire pudding with gravy that was clearly made with the juices as it was so flavourful. The steak pie was brilliant too homemade with large chunks of steak and a choice of potato and whether you'd like the same veg as that with the roast or with peas. This also came with gravy. For dessert there was a choice of either chocolate fudge cake, caramel apple pie or sticky toffee pudding and you had the choice of either cream, ice cream or custard. 2 of us got it with custard and 2 of us got it with ice cream and it wasn't overbearingly sweet it was perfect with a delicious caramel top! We all thoroughly enjoyed all the food and the drinks and service and will be back again one day if we find ourselves holidaying here again"
