"Well worth the visit! I had to come and see what all the fuss was about, and it didn't disappoint. I have passed hundreds of times, even stopping for fuel across the road, but this was the first time I've been here for food. The food on display looked fantastic and offered every vegetable you could think of. The meat selection of Beef, Gammon, Turkey, and Pork all looked fresh and tasty. Sunday roast dinner is carvery for £14.95 or 2 courses for £19.95. You get a fabulous amount of meat and all you can eat vegetables make it great value. The roast potatoes and the potato gratin were tasty, and the gravy spot on. The dessert was lovely. We had the winter fruit crumble, the custard was just right. The staff were friendly and polite, all busy running around. There are several great deals on in the week too, so definitely a return visit to plan Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Apple Crumble Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

Lunchtime carvery exceptional. Really good fresh food cooked to perfection. Starters, main course and sweet. Choice of 3 meats and numerous vegetables. Staff very polite, covid measures in place, surroundings nice and clean. Will be visiting again.

A last minute stop here and even though they were fully booked the managed to squeeze us in. They could of not been more accommodating even doing nuggets when they don't normally do them on a Sunday for our little daughter. As for the food one of the best carvery we have had for a long time. Good old fashioned customer service go a long way and we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I have visited the fox Inn on 3 occasions now at lunchtime. We have tried both the carvery and general menus. The carvery is excellent and superb value for money. The meals off menu card were also very good and sensibly priced. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and comfortable. Not a huge range on menu but good honest pub grub. It can get very busy which is hardly surprising so booking may be good idea.

Terrible service. No great dsabled access bad overall cleanliness, especially the thick dust on the blinds. Food was okay, but the veg option was the same price as the meat òption (who's idea was that? Anyway, the first 3 points ruined it for us. First last visit I'm afraid. Vegetarian options: Veg carvery was the sane price as the meat option? Parking: Disabled parking (if any is too limited. Wheelchair accessibility: Horrible Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Parking options: Free parking lot

Really disappointed yesterday as the food at The Fox is usually lovely. The carvery was over seasoned with way too much pepper and tons of salt. This just killed any flavour from the food. As soon as we got our food and sat down the carvery was cleared away so I presume we got the last order at 17.30. We were also sat next to a girl stacking up knives and forks which was a bit rude when your trying to enjoy an evening meal with the family. Not sure if we will return after this as it was over £70 and really not worth it. Price per person: £70–80 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

"BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN THE UK I visited based on previous reviews and the basis that they offered a tailored menu for my wife who has a Gluten allergy and an oil intolerance along with being a Vegan yep its a tough one. I called in advance and specified the dietary requirements for my wife and upon arriving at the restaurant were greeted by Amber who gave us a custom made menu from the chef which we didn’t expect. Awesome. My wife ordered the Buddha Bowl and I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki based on the recommendation from James who works at the bakery (we visited for coffee before the meal) and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food arrived quickly and the serving was more than generous compared to any other Vegan restaurant I’ve been to and the choice of dishes is monster compared to other Vegan restaurants so there really is something for everyone. The only downside was that I couldn’t finish the sticky toffee pudding with custard and had to share with my wife!!! I never normally struggle with deserts! Overall, the staff (Amber and Alice) were super attentive and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and the restaurant is by far the best for value for money and choice. We travelled over an hour to eat here and will be revisiting again to sample the rest of the menu. I was curious to read the negative reviews left here, but have put that down to stupid customers who probably aren’t Vegan and review fast food establishments like McDonalds shocking! Keep up the great work."
