"we went to Sunday afternoon and had a table booked. I had fish and chips and my man and my daughter had burger. the food was served piping hot and was delicious. my fish was perfectly boiled and served with chips, mushy heaps and tartar sauce. the burgers looked good. my daughter changed her fries to sweet potato fries for a 50p extra fee, but she said they were delicious. my man ordered a shandy, but was served as a pint of abbotts. to the luck he noticed and it was changed quickly. unfortunately we were too full of desserts. we have eaten here often and I'm sure we're coming back. it is a beautiful place for all age groups. everyone is very helpful and the service is good."

I loved the meal I had earlier was going to sit outside but it got a little chilly so we decided to sit inside with no problem. The table service we had was brilliant the man put a candle in my chocolate brownie because it was my birthday too!

the food was amazing we all ordered from the Sunday lunch menu and had beef or the pork belly.the portion size was perfect and that includes the meat.on previos visits sometimes the meat portion is alittle on the small or extreme compared to someone elses.would like to see a green veg as a extra side option.

a warm, welcoming place to visit. the layout decoration and the personal make it a perfect place. if they only relax in the bar area with a drink, then choose to eat. free space for summer or the perfect place for autumn/winter cozy on Sunday afternoon last week was beautiful. we're coming back. also the meeting of 11 weeks old paddy was another tasty bite?

"Really nice pub would return if i lived in the area. Visited for a beer and some food with wife and infant daughter, large carpark, is located at the top of the hill, staff and the locals were very welcoming. Nice selection of ales lagers and spirits. Restaurant section looked to be closed, but the lounge was bright and modern finish. Pub menu was served as per the website but they had a nice choice of specials. Had the special starter peri peri chicken samosa with pickled molis, perfect balance of curried samosa, sharp pickled mooli and spicey peri, came with an interesting almost experimental bread and charcoal garlic butter, mmm yummy main was a wholesome hearty gaint yorkshire brimmed with onion gravey and sausages dressed with a herby oil and fries on the side, was perfectly portioned for a big fella like me, may be too much for some, but a brilliant meal. Finished off with a white chocolate raspberry blondie, with a tart raspberry coolis and custard. Wife had the burger was thick and tasty, nicely seasoned. Daughter had a big portion of fish fingers and chips. Table services was efficient and friendly. Locals were nice to talk to aswell. We all left happy and full, would recommend. Parking: Big lot next to the pub would fit about 12 designated drivers Kid-friendliness: Had kids chair available, changing facilities in the disabled, large selection on the kids menu. Friendly staff, welcomed kids as well as adult. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot"
