Free parking in the centre of Shipston and a welcoming old fashioned pub. It offers a wide range of food and drinks and good coffee. Clean. Good service in central location. Service: 5 Location: 5

Stayed for 1 night, pleasant staff, good choice of drinks and crisps at the bar. The room was lovely, well stocked with good quality toiletries, clean throughout, very good shower, comfy bed generally a bed nice place to stay Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Great food and great service, the wonky corridors and room floors just add character, if you want to avoid noisy children don't go Thursday daytime as its their mother/baby group day , apart from that it's brilliant Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

As vegetarians, Sunday lunch out can often be disappointing, however not so during this visit. We both had the vegan beetroot Wellington with additional Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese. Totally delicious, everything on the plate was hot and tasty and didn’t scream vegan or vegetarian. Service was excellent. A little pricey but you get what you pay for

I drop in often for breakfast, the location, building and atmosphere are second to none. Food is good and the coffee is excellent. My only challenge would be you currently only offer small cups(option of larger cups Most importantly the team are excellent, friendly, cheerful and professional. My wife I enjoyed a short stay at the George Townhouse Shipstone stour the room was big spacious a good quality bed ,a good size bathroom with an overhead shower the breakfast was good. I thought that for the money biscuits could have been provided each day with the tea making facilities the TV was small .also the bed wasn't made up when we returned later that day.but on saying these things I would return hopefully the small changes would be made Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
