"Booked on Thursday for Sunday lunch Sunday 5.30 . 28 th January Arrived told to get drink as table not ready , ordered drinks , 10 mins wait for table no problem as busy . When seated told no lamb ,, when another person came to take order told no roasts at all . Came to take order off other menu and just offered a cursory apology when I said we’d only come for the roast . So disappointed . Left after finished drinks . Why wasn’t a meal kept for us if we’d booked ? Didn’t query at the time as it wasn’t the girls fault and she was rushing round . Just don’t think that booking for a roast guarantees you’ll get it , like we did !"

This is the worst pub I have ever been to and the so called manager ‘Jan’ is the most unfriendliest person I have ever met. I will never step foot in there again.

Just spent new year's Eve in this place everyone so friendly I think the managers name was Jan what a lovely lady her and staff couldn't do enough for you definitely going back .

Just been traveling along the canal and had to stop at a place called mogal. I ended up at a pub/restaurant and got talking to a barman called Jamie. Excellent barman and so friendly. 5stars

We visited as a family of 6 celebrating a birthday for Sunday lunch. Staff were very friendly, food was tasty, hot and the lamb melted in your mouth. Our daughter loved the ice cream sundae for dessert and a play outside in the play area.

This delightful family pub is lovely. I've visited twice, and the staff bend over backwards to ensure your visit is a pleasant and happy experience. I didn't have time to have lunch, but my friends had triple cooked chips? Duck spring rolls and burger and chips with onion rings. All looked delicious.
