"We visited the restaurant tonight during the peak season and it was quite busy when we arrived. The lovely waitress informed us that there was a large party in the other dining room, which might cause a slight delay with our meals. We were seated right away and ordered drinks and our food. Our meals were delivered within half an hour and they looked fantastic. The main dishes arrived shortly after and they were the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff were friendly and very attentive, and the food was truly delicious. We will definitely return very soon!"

I booked a room for my friends birthday dinner party on Saturday. all staff, where so friendly and so helpful. they helped me organize the room that was amazing eating. everyone got what she ordered that nobody said anything bad about eating. I will definitely go back!

Had lunch here today for a big group of us..... I love this place. The staff are always super friendly and the food was as tasty as always, definitely a must for Sunday roasts! Starting with Pimms on the terrace in the lovely sunshine and it was a perfect Sunday : thank you!

Lovely meal on a late Sunday afternoon. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The manager even offered a waitress to entertain our baby so we could enjoy our food together. The Sunday roast was fresh and homely. Will definitely go back. Thank you to all the staff.

We have just moved to the area and as we had no cooking facilities in our new home off we went looking for a good spot for some dinner on a cold winters evening. We were not disappointed, staff were attentive and the food was fantastic! I had a lovely steak which is better than I have had at 'proper ' steak houses. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and atmosphere brilliant. Cannot wait to go back again love that we have such a gem on our doorstep!

I celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday here on April 8, 2017, for lunch. The staff was helpful and incredibly friendly. The food was outstanding, and the chips were the best I've had in a long time! It was a fantastic dining experience with wonderful staff and a beautiful venue. There's also a lovely children's playground outside that my 2-year-old absolutely loved! I highly recommend a visit to The Green Man. Thank you to everyone for making it such a great experience!
