"We attended for a wedding reception, everything was well organized, sufficient staff who were most professional, lots of lovely food and plenty of choice. There was prosecco upon arrival, there were sausage rolls, mini pies, onion bhajis, chicken curry, rice, beef chilli, chips, halloumi sticks and other items I didn't sample, there was more than enough food for all (I believe 60 people attended) and it was really good. The weather was kind and we were able to sit out in the beer garden or stroll around with our drinks. My friend and I had a wonderful time thank you."

I went in for a quick bite to eat and a drink. I had the halloumi fries and the salt and pepper chicken. The food was absolutely delicious! The halloumi was the best portion of halloumi I've had anywhere and the chicken was ace. Great selection of beers and very friendly staff. I will be returning!

Recently attended a family wedding reception at The Greyhound, both hot and cold food was delicious, much nicer than any typical wedding buffet. A real traditional, intimate atmosphere, the landlord is very friendly and makes sure everyone is taken care of and having a good time. Beer garden is perfect for a summers evening area for live music was great!

Always loved this pub and its history, however last night we called in and last orders was rung at 10:15. We were told to order in advance if we wanted another drink. Made to feel we had to drink up and leave once the spray bottle was nearing our table. I am all for being efficient but not at the detriment of the pleasure of punters. Need to ease up a bit 10th August 2024 had a pleasant afternoon in the beer garden.
