Beautiful carvery and great gluten free options. Great pub, very well kept and spaced out with screens between booths. We had a lovely desert. The area is easy to get to and a stunning view.

This pub serves one of the best carvery's in east Devon. It's a large pub with lots of seating and play area, but very popular so you'll need to book most of the time. In addition to the carvery they offer a decent menu with the usual pub food options. Highly recommended.

We booked in for early lunch so place not crowded, also carvery really fresh and hot.We both had senior portion carvery and as usual plenty of chosen meat and helped ourselves to vegetables. I had booked table in advance which was by the window with a nice view, could see the sea in the distance. We skipped desert as our eyes had been bigger than our stomachs when filling our plates.

simply the best place in front of location for a carvery. I'd travel 20 miles as well as his, but I'm local so I'm lucky. the employees are super helpful and I feel that they react to these reviews, as it gets better and better. best to book on Sunday as it is very busy due to its popularity. I say that I don't book and get happiness as I'm ready to wait. I'm vegetarian and her nussy is brilliant with her own engraving. the yorkshires are also veggie.

First time visiting this evening and well worth it. My son wanted to go out for a family meal for his birthday, despite the pub n restaurant being very busy,the atmosphere the staff and food was absolutely fantastic. Fast service,clean environment and well mannered and helpful staff. It was great to be able to choose off the menu as well as having the option of the carvery, reasonable prices and well worth the money.We will definitely be returning. Would recommend book table well in advance to ensure uou get table

This is a fantastic place to eat if you love fresh food, carvery excellent all fresh and plenty, beef exceptional so tender other meats very good,, excellent choice of menu also if not having carvery as grandchildren preferred baguette and nuggets, can’t fault anything and well presented Sweets to die for it was so good we visited 4 times in week. Prices very reasonable Staff very helpful and friendly and lots of space inside as well as nice eating space outside. Lovely garden for children, plenty of car parking, well worth visit.

fantastic carvery. very friendly staff. has an amazing shimmer over the place also in the middle of the week when it is calm. regular visitor to hare dogs. the carvery is a popular choice, but the menu has a lot of quality meals to choose. something for everyone. the device is very clean and accessible. Baby change facilities are sufficient to do the job. the staff is polite and helpful. very friendly. recommend ring and book a table that you visit each day. as well as through the week it can be surprisingly busy. overall a fantastic experience. I'm back in the near future.

it obviously needs a lot to be recognized by michelin. hard work, long hours, consistency and complete dedication to the job...not to forget amazing food and service! but with an estimate of almost 4000 restaurants in wales – after tripadvisor. and my countability (argh! ; it hurts me to see that michelin as a country only saw it fit, wales with 7, highly deserves to forgive michelin stars. this added that until last week only the felin fach griffin in brecon a bib gourmand (criteria to offer three courses for under £28, and only 45 restaurants appear in the guide itself.
