"Mothering Sunday meal for 6 plus dog! We all enjoyed splendid roasts. (4 beef, 1pork, 1 turkey) All cooked to perfection and in plentiful amounts. Charlie dog opted for the chicken from his menu! Everything was delicious and we had a most enjoyable time. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We love coming here and always have a good meal in lovely surroundings served by really nice staff. It was a first time visit for our daughter and her family and dog. They are very impressed. The Hare and Hounds states that it is dog friendly and it really is. Our canine friends are well catered for and treated like royalty! Great venue, great food, great staff and great value for money."

Christmas Eve with my mother-in-law. Nice food, was a bit slow for the main course, but the server was nice and it was a busy night for her so I understand.

very nice and cozy pub that is totally dog-friendly. they can get water for their dog and they can even buy a meal for it. I liked the sausages. I liked the chicken and pancetta cake. they also serve good ale like doom bar. we had a very pleasant meal with friends. would recommend it and come back.

nice pub and eat. my partner had an unexpected day trip and I decided to take it to lunch. we have booked a table online and arrived early to have a drink before the meal and enjoy the view from the beer garden. we then went to our meal, which was beautiful. all employees were pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit.

My partner and I visited here for lunch on Monday. Our meal was really nice one of the best I have had in a long time. It is a really nice pub in a lovely setting. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being too much. The pub has a really nice atmosphere. We also had a 50% voucher off our main meal which was good. We will definitely visit again for lunch.

First time visit for Sunday lunch, very nice clean warm pub with very friendly service. The server was happy to help and provide more gravy with no issues. Lunch was very nice. Desert was the only low point, the Creme Brulee was more like an egg custard which was a shame but didn't detract from the very nice overall experience.. will be back and choose a different desert.

I was disappointed that none of the options listed on Happy Cow were available at this restaurant, such as the Moving Mountains burger. However, the burger they did have on the menu was incredibly tasty, despite my usual preference for meat burgers over vegetable/bean ones. The service was impressively quick, with our food served promptly after ordering. I would definitely recommend this place for a satisfying meal.
