Called in for breakfast, great value and a nice atmosphere. Have been before and enjoyed a very tasty carvery.

Friendly service, nice hot meals, Carvery seems special, so much choice. Pleasant atmosphere. Not cluttered, easy to move around. Parking at side.

I visited this restaurant during the Christmas season and tried the vegan meatball burger with tater tots. I found it to be very delicious. As of February 2023, the menu includes a few burger options and a pizza. It may not be amazing, but it definitely satisfies the craving!

Had a fabulous Christmas Day dinner in 2021. Everything was delicious. Landlady and her team were cheerful, chatty and made the day even more joyous. My husband cheekily asked if he could keep his pint glass and the landlady insisted she wash it for him first so he could take it home!!

Called into the Inn by the Sea on a Thursday lunch time. It was surprisingly busy and I should have called ahead to book a table. Having said that I ordered a carvery. A good choice of meat and veg. Bradley served me at the pass and was really friendly and helpful. The meat was juicy and tasty, not at all dry. I will definitely be returning to this pub/restaurant.

I am happy to see that more restaurants are now providing vegan menu options. It's a departure from the days when your only choices were a stuffed pepper or a basic salad with chips if you were lucky. However, like many chain restaurants, the food here is pretty basic and overpriced for what you receive. The presentation is not great, with slightly burnt buns and chips just thrown on a plate. Despite this, I have eaten and that makes me satisfied.

Had a nice breakfast, I had bacon and waffles, I made a comment to my husband that I wish I had heard maple syrup and the lady behind the bar and went and found me some. After sitting for a while, my laws called to say that they would join us and they moved us to a bigger table and cleaned him and helped us move our things. The staff are very friendly and they are so helpful, it's like nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely return

What a wonderful welcome. Drinks served and seated at our reserved table within a minute of arrival including space for a cold pram. A wide ranging menu to choose from roasts, pizzas, burgers and others. I had fish and chips after a started off calamari. Other members of our group ate from the wide range of options. These are wholesome meals at good prices. Food was generally well cooked, meaning that even the chef was willing to ask how we were enjoying it. Without being intrusive staff kept watch and regularly asked whether there was anything else we needed.
