"I was really thrilled to find this place last time I was in St Just. I 'm from Cornwall myself, was vegetarian from the age of 11 (I 've been vegan for 3 years now , and when I was young it was almost impossible even to get vegetarian food a lot of the time. Asking for a salad sandwich would often lead to the refrain 'what, no meat?? ' followed by utter confusion. These days it 's getting a lot easier (yay! and finding The Square last time I was home visiting my Mum was a lovely surprise. It was a flying visit, and unfortunately I was there too early in the day to get to try the vegan pizza, but I had a large salad with a vegan bhaji, a slice of vegan cake, and coffee with soya milk. It was filling, tasty, and excellent value for money. The staff were delightful, friendly, and very welcoming. Next time I 'm down visiting family I 'm going to make sure I 'm in time to try the pizza, and they had some very tasty sounding sorbet too. My one very minor complaint, is that I wish they 'd been serving the vegan pizza at lunch time!"

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the fish Thai curry which had plenty of vegetables and large pieces of fish.

Lovely pizza. If there’s no vegan cheese in stock they will allow you to bring your own and it to the pizza for you. Very reasonable prices.

Unfortunately, the food is quite average now compared to what it was like 5 years ago. However, the selection of beers is good and the staff is friendly.

This small pub is exceptional with friendly staff and a fantastic selection of beers. While the menu is somewhat typical, the dishes are served promptly and in generous portions. The freshness of the food is evident in every bite.

As well as a well-stocked salad bar and (gf base available too) vegan pizza on the menu (from 3pm) they had 3 gf vegan baked goods: a brownie, a chocolate coconut topped flapjack and raspberry crumble square. I may have eaten 3 of the raspberry crumble squares, no regrets.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and has expanded their vegan options over the years. They surprised us with a delicious special dessert and a chickpea burger that wasn't even on the menu. They also offer a variety of cakes. I highly recommend this place.

The variety of vegan choices at this restaurant was impressive, and the staff were incredibly helpful in suggesting options for us. They had a wide selection of vegan cheese, salads, sausages, baked potatoes, soup, and even vegan cake. The food was fresh and delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The fact that HappyCow's rating system does not allow for five stars for all places is a disservice to a place like this. The vegan options are plentiful, the staff is highly knowledgeable, they can easily customize a menu for vegans, and they exclusively use vegan mayo. This place deserves a five-star rating all the way.

I was never a particular pizza fan before I went vegan and so have never missed them. However, for various reasons, I have had 3 vegan pizzas over the last month they've all been good but this was superb. The vegan mozzarella they use is lovely and they don't skimp on it. There are loads of optional extras so you can build a pizza to exactly suit your taste. We shall be returning very soon!
