The King's Arms - Menu

Visited The King's Arms this afternoon as the restaurant we had intended to use for lunch was closed. Lovely, friendly welcome and the food was absolutely superb. Will definitely be back soon.

We went here for the pensioners lunch,£7,add a dessert for £3,it was absolutely fantastic, I chose the roast turkey with all the trimmings,wow! fantastic value and all our food was beautif ,full size portions too,would definitely recommend

Outstanding food, friendly staff, well worth a visit. We spent 7 days on the norfolk broads as a family of eight. We enjoyed the food here so much we stayed berthed where we were for another night so we could eat here for breakfast and another evening meal. Good portions, very tasty food. What can one say but what a beautiful carvery so full I might need an afternoon nap. Rest of the family enjoyed there carvery’s too. My wife had scampi and chips, the chips were over cooked but they halved the price of meal without any issues that’s the sign of good customer service. I would like to say thank you and the next time I am in the area with my family we will call in again.

We visit this restaurant every time we are in the area. We had dinner here last night and ordered a variety of items from the menu, as well as a couple of carveries. Everything was fantastic, especially the carvery which was possibly the best I have ever had. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, not overcooked and mushy like in most places. There was a huge selection of choices available as well. We will definitely be returning next year.

Quite simply I cannot understand these reviews, this pub isn’t worth crossing the road for let alone the journey. It’s not a destination place, the surroundings are shabby beyond belief, the service at best surly, the menu appears to consist of mostly frozen food cooked up, and we waited nearly 45 minutes for fish and chips and a bill for almost £100 for 4, with 6 drinks between the 4 of us. It’s no wonder pubs are closing, this was my worst pub experience in a very very long time. View menu

Wow ! we went here on a Wednesday night for a carvery and to say it was good would be an understatement. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and the choice of vegetables was amazing. It was one of those days when I wished I had more than one stomach !! The staff were attentative, friendly and smiley ... why is it that you always find this sort of place near the end of your holiday ?? If we had discovered The Kings Arms at the beginning, we would have dined here every night. Thank you all for a fantastic culinary delight, don't change a thing as you could not make it any better. What a disorganized experience. Everything from arrival to seating was fine, the carvery was decent, but the food was just average. The experience took a turn for the worse when we were abruptly asked to move our car because we were parked in the "wrong space" and needed to move "in case the kitchen received a delivery". This seemed unlikely during a busy Sunday food service. I moved the car to the road and returned to find my meal much colder than before, with no acknowledgment from the staff. To top it off, when requesting the bill, we were informed that we needed to pay at the till. Have been wanting to go here for a while and finally got the time to book and go. Wow it did not disappoint. The staff and venue were very welcoming. It felt warm and homely in the bar and a great set up for dogs... especially with their doggie dinners! Didn't have a dog but if I had one this would be my go to place! We sat in the restaurant area where the carvery set up is and it was beautifully decorated. A little cramped with all the tables but it worked. The food options were plentiful and for someone who's fussy I had plenty of options. The food tasted amazing also and already we can't wait to go back.
