"The waiter was very young, nervous and didn’t have a notepad or a particularly good memory. The food took quite awhile to arrive. It was tasty and hot. There were candles everywhere but not lit (perhaps they don’t bother on a Monday evening? The music was some sort of rap/house music? At least the volume was low. It wasn’t suited to the clientele."

Very tasty food in a cosy setting, staff are friendly our meal took a while to come, but the large family party in the restaurant may have been a contributory factor here. If I lived here I wouldn’t hesitate in making this my ‘local’

The atmosphere was non existent. my Wife and I sat in a poorly lit room alone. The soup leek and potato was not nice, and my wife's chicken dish had to be sent back as there was blood in the chicken. Prices are not cheap, and the food is not of a good quality.

An olde world pub with super service from the barmaid. Easy to park. Lovely outside area. All let down by a disastrous meal. The raw liver was inedible. Neither was it cheap. £14 for raw liver, standard mash, and unexciting bacon. Would go again for the friendliness and service, but never for the food.
