"Some of the dinner options can be a bit pricey, but they always provide cheaper alternatives like smaller portions and appetizers (which are excellent for a light meal). The lunch menu is very reasonable. The desserts are absolutely heavenly and impossible to resist! There’s a wide selection of local ales and beers, and the taps change frequently, keeping things interesting. The service is excellent—always timely and friendly—with beautiful old decor that adds to the charm. The lovely garden surroundings enhance the experience, and they’re almost open all day, even offering breakfast! We sometimes visit for special occasions like birthday dinners or Christmas Eve, which are very festive. However, we most often come for lunch or a casual dinner. When friends come to visit, we always take them here, and they always leave satisfied. We love this place!"

I took my mother-in-law out for dinner on bank holiday Monday, and we had a lovely meal. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I enjoyed a great steak and ale pie, while my wife said her pork dinner was delicious, and my mother-in-law loved her ham, egg, and chips. We'll definitely be returning!

Never been here before and was I trawling through local eateries for a traditional Sunday roast. A lot of pubs aren’t open now on Sundays but The Lamb Inn was a real find! You do have to book as it is popular. I had roast pork and my partner had roast topside of beef. The puddings are to die for!
