"Lovely pub with traditional character and open fires. The “Nunnery” room upstairs is great for gatherings with the girls to make it feel special. The new manager is really friendly and welcoming and it was so thoughtful to put on Rememberance day refreshments for charity. Food is great with good portions and I love the new menu- I had “Thyme Chicken” and the mushroom sauce was perfect, not sickeningly creamy and plenty of mushrooms. Looking forward to returning for a burger soon."

Lovely staff, helpful, polite and friendly, despite not necessarily knowing what was on the menu. Food was harty and good value. It would have been a 5* if the beer was better, it was past its best condition IMHO.

in this beautiful village pub for a business lunch, the personal was very friendly and the eating was before location beautiful original properties and low beams give a cozy warming atmosphere. will return definately!

I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at this charming restaurant, where I had a fish finger ciabatta with salad and homemade coleslaw. The historic low-beamed building added to the ambiance, but watch out for your head! In May 2022, I returned for another fantastic meal of ham, egg, peas, chips, and a refreshing pint of Ranmore IPA.

This pub restaurant is the best in the village. They offer an excellent variety of beers, both local and imported. The large beer garden out back is beautiful, with plenty of tables and umbrellas for shade. They even have garden games like balls and decks available for customers to enjoy. The customer service is fantastic, making it a great place to grab a drink or have a meal.

This pub is absolutely beautiful. We visit often and always have a great experience. The service is top-notch and the food is consistently delicious. They were very accommodating when we brought our child, who doesn't have a big appetite. We will definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends as our favorite spot to dine. We will continue to come back whenever possible.

after several changes of the renter in recent years the plough was deported from our radar for a local location. I am pleased to report that it has jumped back under its new property, the menu is short, but well presented and the food is cooked at home and plentiful. tonight there was live entertainment in the beautiful well maintained garden and the pub has established it again. a wonderful evening and I will definitely come back.
