"So last Monday we came to a really chilled vibe at 730, big guy playing solo guitar. Had a few drinks me and wife in the early 50s) then DJ started and we explained up to 230. Great atmosphere, good drinks, 100s well pampered young people arrived at 10 a.m. One has to tell the door staff a good work, their patience was tested by some middle old idiots, but nothing dishonest and much clear communication about what would be tolerated, etc. All in all a great place that can bring up a great night!"

First time in this place last night. Great atmosphere with a few different artists singing. The age range up to 9pm is mostly 40+. After 9pm it is mostly 18+. So choose your time to visit.

A great bar in Cardiff. Live music from the morning onwards. Probably the cheapest cocktails you can get anywhere. The food is good and at a bargain price. One of my favorites pubs in Cardiff. View menu

Good live music venue, also plays music like per normal club, amazing drinks selection especially whisky! Probably the best choice of whisky in South Wales, regarding number and variety. Very friendly staff

I have to admit, I was quite surprised.. Was there on a Saturday afternoon after a Wales rugby game. It was packed. Really good band playing. The clientele were really friendly. Bar staff were great. Decent beers.

Went Sunday afternoon after a charity walk. Had a nice lunch and a few wines. Not too full in there, great live music as always..the acts are swapped after a certain amount of time. Great atmosphere, lovely afternoon out. View menu

When I first came in with my daughter, I didn't click why she called the live lounge... until I came in... and singing a guy on stage... Great entertainment and the food was stunning... very friendly staff...was quiet when we are there...but have seen pictures when it's busy... think I'll stay at the quiet times... Good visit if you have not been

I love the place but it would be nice to have Mr Brightside on less often and different nights, the music feels often the same all the time a bit more variety would be nice The drinks are great value for money, They have the widest variety of drinks than any other place I have been. Good atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Only change is have different music nights
