"I usually order the dry ribs which are absolutely perfect! The chicken fried rise always has loads of chicken in it! The pancake rolls are delicious! The sweet and sour chicken balls are big and filling! The chips and rice with sweet and sour sauce has lots of sauce! Great food at great prices! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but not sure if it is cooked in the same oil as the meat and chicken is! Parking: There is always parking spaces here! It is what I would call a little mini mall with a spare and barber's! Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but this is a takeaway not a restaurant! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20"

Great food, reasonable price, good portions. Just a bit salty for my taste.

Great service. Have used them for years and they do the best Yung Chow fried rice. Their lemon chicken is great too. Everything is always piping hot and delivered at the time stated. Very very pleasant chap on the phone too he's always polite and nothing is ever a bother for him. Never had a bad meal or experience here yet.

I typically go for the dry ribs, which are simply fantastic! The chicken fried rice is always packed with chicken! The pancake rolls are absolutely delicious! The sweet and sour chicken balls are generous in size and quite filling! The chips and rice with sweet and sour sauce come loaded with sauce! Overall, it's excellent food at great prices! View menu

We ordered two very basic dishes that should be easy to get right: two portions of chicken balls—one served with chips and the other with rice. Unfortunately, the chips were overcooked and hard as a rock. The chicken balls were decent, and the portion size was generous. However, the sweet and sour sauce lacked flavor, and while the gravy wasn't the typical Chinese takeaway style, it was acceptable. The prawn crackers were the last straw; they are a staple, and I can't understand how they could get them so wrong. I won't be returning, even though it's the closest option. I'd rather drive to the other side of town for better quality food.

OK so, we ordered two very basic, run of the mill dishes that should be easy to perfect. Ordered two portions of chicken balls, one with chips and one with rice. One tub of gravy and one sweet and sour. Chips were like coffin nails. The chicken balls were OK, and you do get a decent portion. Sweet and sour sauce was bland. Gravy wasnt your traditional Chinese takeaway gravy, was OK though. The prawn crackers were the final straw. It's a staple. How you can get them so wrong is beyond me. Won't be back regardless of the fact its the closest to me, would rather drive to the far side of town for quality. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 4

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
