"The perfect pub! We broke a journey here on the strength of the Good Beer Guide entry and were delighted that we did. Food and beer were excellent and the service superb. The friendly, welcoming staff and locals made us very welcome, and the landlord and landlady treated us like regulars. All that and the decor is great and the pub has a thatched roof!"
