"service is excellent, personal are attentive and eating is excellent and very affordable. visited Valentine's Day and were treated to a free sample of one of their cheese with beautiful house made piccalilli after a delicious three curs meal. I can't recommend the pheasant."

This is a great gastropub just off the M4 at the Hungerford exit, on the road to Lambourn and consequently a favourite of the racing crowd.

I met up with friends for a late lunch on Saturday, and the food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The steak and ale pie I ordered was hands down the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back again soon.
