"We have Fish Chips [almost] every Friday when we are in the UK. They are possibly the best you will ever get even better than in Whitby or Eyemouth. The Red Lion is also very Dog Friendly if you sit in the conservatory. The Fillet Steak's are also nice and very reasonably priced. The staff Sue, Ellie, Lynn Alex are all brilliant. We never have to get out of our seats as the service is first class."

Table was very sticky and had to be cleaned, meal was good although people who had fillet steak were disappointed by its size it fitted easily fitted in palm of hand

Great meal, good service however when I took my 5 year old son to the toilet found a bag of cocaine on the floor. Handed it to the guy behind the bar who in fairness apologised. However ruined our trip.

This is a lovely quiet pub. Clean and dog friendly, even though our puppy was only young nobody minded when he barked a little. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. It felt safe under the new restrictions. Parking at the back, and both child and dog friendly. View menu

Nice little hotel with a good full English breakfast. We had booked the family room, which was extremely spacious, so that we could spread out with our kith and kin. The only downside were the mattresses, which were too soft for our taste but that's subjective. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5
