"I regret not reading the reviews before making a reservation at this restaurant. The establishment does not seem to have many returning customers, likely due to their high prices. I spent £25 on what must have been the smallest piece of cod I have ever been served, which looked like a quarter of a portion you could buy from a supermarket. It was accompanied by a minuscule serving of canned broad beans. It was truly a terrible experience. I noticed that the only other patrons were from a nearby conference center, indicating that they rely on passing trade. I would not recommend this restaurant as the description of their offerings is greatly exaggerated."

I loved the relaxed feel, we chose to eat in the bar which is dog-friendly for a cosier feel but that did mean dealing with a slight wet dog smell. food was good quality and not oversized.

The best sunday roast I have ever eaten. I also liked the fact that the was a kids menu available and the kids food options looked very delicious and high quality as well. I definitely visit the Red Lion Inn again.

I was somewhat disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the pub itself was empty and lacked atmosphere. I also realized that we may have been overcharged, as I did not check the bill thoroughly before paying.

We were expecting a warm welcome with a cozy fireplace, but were disappointed to find the restaurant freezing cold inside. We had to keep our coats on throughout the meal. The salmon starter was thin and overly fishy, with a disappointingly small portion. The Yorkshire pudding was cold and the lamb tasted more like beef. The vegetarian shepherd's pie, however, was delicious. The dessert was okay. We were shocked by the high price of a "large" glass of white wine at £10.75.
