An absolutely awesome Father's day lunch. The food was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff and service were perfect for the occasion. I would definitely recommend this lovely country pub.

Wonderful food in a very friendly atmosphere and you won't need to eat the following day either with the generous portions that they serve. Highly recommend by me and I have been there several times, and have just rebooked for my fifth visit!

Woeful vegetarian options. Half a roast cauliflower on its own as a main dish, no sauce, no accompaniments for £16 and I can make a better risotto in the back of a van, peas and carrots may as well have come from a freezer bag. Starters and dessert were great but wouldn't rush back.

If you're looking for good pub-grub, then you're in the wrong place. The Royal Oak is much much more than that. The chef's from Sicily and boy can he cook. This was our second visit and we can't wait to go back. Hopefully when the weather is a little better, so we can dine alfresco in the lovely gardens. Bella!
