"If anyone is going oak for Xmas dinner. You are in for a treat. Mushroom starter is amazing. The dinner was brill the turkey was so nice and my friend has braised steak it melted in your mouth. Pudding well ice cream sundae is ice cream. If anyone fancies going again give me a shout.. thanks to chef. Rob and other young gent for waiting on. Cheers Danny for the last half hour ha ha xx"

The Royal Oak is a fantastic pub, with brilliant food and a great atmosphere. I was in there this afternoon with my wife having lunch, and the 8oz rump steak was out of this world cooked to perfection. The best steak I've had in ages, full compliments to the chef. Would definitely return :
