"The food was delicious, service and staff were just lovely. The log fire was gorgeous. The whole place was beautifully clean. Only downside was the incredibly bright lighting which made you able to count the wrinkles on your fellow diners faces and should you need to you would have been able to complete an intricate sewing challenge. Please switch the overhead bright white spotlights for reflected light from orange tone side lights and wall lights. It's beautiful what the new couple have fine with the place and the chef was fab, but the lighting made it feel like dinner in an interrogation suite. Make this one switch and this will be a truly fabulous dining experience with no faults."

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at a lovely location! The food was delicious and there was a great selection to choose from. The ales and wine were also top-notch. We recommend this place highly! I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The Sunday Roast was absolutely amazing, along with the delicious beer and exceptional service. The staff really went above and beyond to make our meal special. For vegetarians, the nut roast was outstanding. The price per person was between £10-£20, which was well worth it for the quality of food and service. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their Sunday Roast!

Beautiful welcome from the lovely owners, a warm log fire, traditional food well done plus a masterful G&T and love their own draught lager a lovely pub!
