"that was my first chance to try the sun inn since the new owners had taken over. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been during the pandemic, but based on the quality of eating and service tonight, I suppose they have practiced much behind closed doors. I cannot harm the quality of eating or service at all. this place deserves to be packed into the rafter, but I don't think it will take too long before this place is one of the most popular restaurants. I didn't have a bat since I was back from Texas. starter and net were cooked to perfection."

Great food. Great prices. Great staff. Very welcoming and really well decorated and clean. Good space, not cramped and not overly busy. Will visit again next time I'm in the area.

Pleasant staff. Very quiet. Food 1 dimensional. Mash, carrots and a green splodge on every plate weather fish pie, chicken schnitzel, or over fatty beef short rib. Over salty too. Would not visit again. Gastropub I think not. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We had a lovely family celebration on Sunday. 12 adults and 4 children. The starters and Sunday roast was well cooked and delicious. The meals all came out at the same time and the staff were extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. There was space for the little ones to play so they were not bored sitting still at the table. Would recommend for a meal for 2 or a larger group. Thank you Joel and Hayley for making the family celebration a memorable occasion.
