"I am really disappointed about the visit today!! I ordered orange juice and it tasted absolutely disgusting, when I mentioned it to who I guess what the manager running the bar she said that some people say that about our orange juice but it was freshly opened today. When I requested a new drink she was very rude and said it would taste exactly the same if she got me a new one because of my taste buds, when the other 6 people I was with agreed that it was disgusting and smelt like it was off!! I also requested a refund because they shouldn't be serving that and she said she couldn't give me a refund. When I said I was going to give a bad review she completely ignored me. I think if that's how you are going to deal with loyal customers you shouldn't be a manager who deals with complaints. I haven't even got onto the food I wanted curry but no where it the restaurant was it addressed that they had ran out so I ordered something else under pressure when it arrived it was cold and a lot of people in the restaurant at the same time were saying that there food was cold!!! They also didn't have the desert I wanted and there was no apology. I will not be going to this restaurant again after being spoken to like a piece of dirt!! And I won't be recommending it to anyone."

I've been here once or twice, but my second visit was a lovely evening with some friends a few weeks ago. It was nice and quiet, very cosy in the bar area with the booths and delicious icey staropramen on tap. My friends ate but I didn't, they said it was delicious! Definitely coming back again Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5

Could be a great place. Lovely area around it generally. Pub seemed very run down and could do with a real spring clean. The food was ok I guess hard to go wrong on all day breakfast I suppose. Staff were decent folk but working here would suck the life out of me. Visited on Friday afternoon and it was utterly empty. Needs a real boost.

Always had a good meal here, but I don't know what's happened to the place, all that was in the wine chiller was a few bottles and some opened ones, asked the young girl if they were waiting for a dilivery, got told the shift before didn't bottle up.ok understood, but this was 6pm on a Saturday night, surely someone during the day could have done it.seems to have gone down the pan.

This afternoon I visited wacky warehouse with my sister and I was absolutely disgusted. My food took 2 hours to arrive and once I had got my food I realised the burger was still frozen inside and raw in the middle. A few hours after I got home I was violently sick. That wasn’t the end of it. After I was sick I rang up and the manager said that i was lying and that it couldn’t have been food poisoning because it take 12 to 14 hours to go into the system. What a load of ****. I would definitely not recommend this pub and soft play area because it was an absolute shambles.

have visited in twice in the last few weeks and have had no problems realy apart from an hours wait for food on one occasion when only one other table in...food has always been served hot and well cooked..waitress was lovely, friendly and helpfull, bar staff/manager seemed ok and dealt with our request to change childs food order no problem, but did feel a bit like we were puttin her out when we went to bar and she was outside smokin or sat on her phone, children were disappointed tho that wacky had closed early and had paid gone in for 10 mins, came to eat and was shut afterwards.anot a bad visit....will return again.

absolutely diabolical place! took my family for my daughter's birthday and was told she was not allowed to bring her birthday cake, the children's toilets have black mould growing up the walls, toilet roll was sat on the floor not in a holder, food was microwaved to hell and back, all burnt, dry and mostly gristle! we were swatting flies away the whole time we were there the play area was swarming with them, the staff in the kids area was too busy looking after her own son and tending to his needs rather than doing her job, and was very vocal about it shutting down next month and I can't say I am surprised, the building needs to be condemned!!

This was totally refurbished and no longer a Wacky Warehouse. There is a separate room that will seat about 14 people, I think the minimum is 7. I have used this, and is ideal for a private party, and it's free to use. Food Standards Rating: 4/5. Great friendly staff. Good menu selection. Good choice of wines and beers. Never had a problem on any visits, and we've been many times. Also taken friends who have enjoyed the place too. One of our recent visits: 1 x Guinness £4.25 2 x Bottles of Pinot Grigio (we used a taxi) £41.00 Starters: Chilli Prawns £8.00 Chicken Pate £6.50 Mains: Rump Steak £21.00 (cooked medium, thumbs up) Glass of Malbec to have with the steak (250ml) £7.15 Chicken Caesar...

"Attended: Sunday 9/10/22 2 pm. Just a quick point about the actual website. It is really geared to events, and open at varying times for Sunday lunch. So, I couldn't actually find a menu. Moving on.... I told the restaurant that I couldn't have cheese in or on my food. They checked with me regarding the certain meals, which was good. Friendly welcome, and great staff. The venue lovely. We all went for the Sunday roast, except my daughter. I'll list the items, and leave the niggles at the end. 1 x Le Serre, Chardonnay £24.50 3 x Cokes 330ml 7.50 1 x pink Flamingo Cocktail £9.50 1 x Pravha £5.00 2 x S P Squid £14.80 2 x Moroccan Haloumi £14.80 1 x Confit Chicken £16.95 2 x Free Range Chicken £33.90 1 x Topside of Beef £17.95 1 x Churros £6.40 3 x Sticky Toffee Puddings £20.70 1 x Coffee Amricano £3.00 1 Double Hennessy Fine £28.00 1 x Espresso Martini £8.00 Sub Total £211.00 Service Charge £21.10 Total £232.10 I checked that the staff do get their share of the service charge, except the managers. All the starters were fine, I'd have like more chilli and had my daughters, but that's me being picky. The mains were all good, I tried my son's beef, and it was melt in your mouth, my free range chicken roast was very faloursome. The sweets were good in flavour, and son enjoyed his Churros, my wife couldn't finish her ST pudding as it was too much for her. The niggles, and no stars lost: The roast potatoes were a bit bland in tast, so not sure what fat was used at home I goose fat . They were large, and I like large roast potatoes, but I found the outside hard to cut trhough. My guess is that they are cooked up early in the day and kept warm. That's for the chef to say. The roast chicken seem to be left bereft without some stuffing. Sticky Toffee Pudding It was always was going to be a challenge as it's one of my wife's signature dishes. It was OK, but felt like just sponge and could have done with more toffee sauce. Ice cream on top, was good, being greedy, I could done with more. : The Brandy My favourite tipple at the end of a meal with a coffee. I was asked if I want cold or warm milk, Ilke being given the option. Unfortunately, the brandy was served in a cold glass and it deserved a warmer one. Cusping my had around the glass didn't really help. Would I go back? Yes. No points taken off for the niggles. An issue for the hard of hearing is that there is no soft furning to take up some of the sound, and the background music was a drone on my hearing. I have two hearing aids and the two main settings didn't help. I was picking up the loud spekers on the other tables, which made it hard for me hear right near my own family. Hearing aids tend to pick up the loudest noise. The musak was an unnecessary distraction. :"

"Arrived a few minutes early at 3.15pm for our 3.30pm booking. Very warm welcome from blonde waitress at bar. Very quickly seated by dark haired waitress with glasses who wasn 't very friendly from the start. Pub was fairly busy on arrival but soon became pretty quiet, perhaps explaining our tail end of service poor experience. Wine list had to be chased as didn 't arrive. Drinks also had to be chased. Service to actually place our order had to be chased as we were seemingly abandoned after asking for a few minutes to chose our meals after being asked for our order only a couple of minutes after arrival. Further service had to be chased from our dead zone later in the meal. These were details only, very annoying but par for the course these days sadly. The main and more significant issue was the quality of the roast beef. Tough to the point that you could not cut it. Also delivered not as requested in terms of cooking so lots of back and forth to get our meat cooked as we had asked. Numerous veg were cold or luke warm. Several yorkshire pudding way beyond crisp to the point of being burnt. Excessive salt on majority of veg. Manageress arrived fairly quickly and was initially responsive but the experience at this stage was already hugely spoiled. Replacement food was much better but by that stage we had been put off the whole lunch and to reflect this were offered 2 glasses of wine and a portion of custard to compliment our dessert! This place has been unreliable since the start of the Giles ownership. The family attitude to customers is poor. We asked for the manager to review the bill to reflect the poor experience and ended up being passed a phone to talk to the manager who had gone home. This some 3 hours after we entered the pub due to the awful experience we had encountered."
