Superb fresh haddock, just fell apart. Great to see a pub not using frozen fish......cooked to perfection. Great venue for above average pub grub....with the Mod band playing in background.....

Came in for a quick drink. Only two staff members on from what I could see Neither of the girls acknowledged me coming in meaning I had no idea where I could sit how to order ect. I came up to the bar to ask...

We were just nipping in for a Beer . The food looked lovely, so we decided to dine. We weren't disappointed, proper food at proper prices. Staff were great, friendly and the service was second to none. A must for any visitor to Perth. View menu

Another day in Perth and we popped into the Tavern for a drink and some food it’s another pet friendly place there are loads of seating available I had the small portion Haddock it was very nice with a crispy batter I would highly recommend...

We enjoyed the excellent service from friendly helpful staff, the food was brought promptly and was very tasty and well presented. We liked the atmosphere and decor of the place, traditional with a modern twist, and we enjoyed the music. Good value too.

Popped in at lunchtime when visiting Perth city centre. The staff made sure we had signed in and the tables had a sign saying ‘clean’ which was taken away when sat down. Table service was in operation and service was quick and friendly. Interesting decor... View menu

Two of us came in for a late lunch, I order the chipotle chicken wrap which was supposed to come with sour cream and lime which never did. The chicken was very tough and chewy and all that was in the wrap was tough chicken, tiny amount of cheese and some bland chipotle sauce. Partner had fish and chips which was exceedingly average. Batter was very pale and soggy. They also ordered a pint of lager that tasted stale. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

First visit to this very welcoming eaterie on the main drag in Perth. Being a soup lord, the standard choice of 3 was welcomed. The lentil and bacon was selected, the distinct lack of visible bacon was annoying, but to be fair it was quite tasty. I went for Steak pie., Not my ideal presentation, the pastry cooked separately and plopped on top, not giving that soggy pastry taste I yearn . the meat was tasty enough and plentiful. My friend had the chilli and enjoyed it. Pleasant staff, with the waiter showing interest and asking if everything was fine. Would definitely recommend and return.

This is our go-to spot for lunch whenever we are in the vicinity of Perth. We stumbled upon it just after lockdown when strict protocols were in place, but today's visit was the complete opposite. The staff were friendly and welcoming, allowing us to choose our own seating. The food is exceptional, which is why we have made it a point to visit every time we are in Perth. I always order the Cullen Skink, followed by a Strawberry Sundae, while my wife loves the chips with skins on. The atmosphere is nice, with subdued music playing in the background, and the staff are accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning many more times. Kenny Clare. View menu
