"We had a fantastic dining experience last night! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. It was just what we needed for a chilly winter evening. The lovely ice cream served in a charming sunflower bowl was a perfect finishing touch. We had an outstanding meal on December 19, 2016. The staff was beautiful and friendly, and the food was fabulous and well presented. My little grandson especially loved the chocolate flower pudding. We went here for boxing day lunch 26/12/16 it was absolutely delicious the staff were very friendly my husband had the venison and it just melted in the mouth I had the turkey if I have to complain about anything it would just be that the parsnips were not cooked enough for me as I like mine brown and soft but my husband had them and he loved them it truly was a delicious meal. Just as good as when we go for Sunday lunch. We would highly recommend

I made a booking for a christmas night out (which was amended a few times in the day but they were more than happy to accommodate us). The night was fantastic and so were the staff. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too. 4 ordered off the xmas menu and they absolutely loved it. The six of us had a brilliant time, we even got a picture on the page! It's a fantastic pub, made better by the staff. If any of the staff that were working on 15/12/2015 are reading this, thank you very much.
