The White Bull At Ribchester

We came for a drink and ended up with two drinks and three lots of starters! Great food, the best being the Salt and Pepper chips! Lovely environment with great outside seating area. Clean and professional.

Came for a meal, service was OK, no real issues, but food was mediocre, turns out the chef is not a chef? Why do they charge their prices for an un qualified person, but the lady with blonde hair wasn't interested

15 of us for a Sunday tea. Surroundings very nice and staff couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We had a variety of meals and everyone commented on the quality and presentation of the food. What a little hidden gem 11/10 Will deffo return

We had lunch here the day after a wedding with a huge party, and they did excellent to accommodate us. So friendly, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend the gyros (so delicious) and fish and chips. Will definitely come back if the opportunity arises. Thank you so much!

Went on a Sunday and had a mix of children’s meals , Sunday roasts and a la carte menu . Everything was lovely , service good and friendly and fab surroundings . Wine reasonably priced. Chocolate brownie deserves a special mention ! Was quite quiet and we couldn’t work out why as we think it’s by far the best eatery in the village ! View menu

My husband and I were attending a Birthday party in the area and The White Bull was recommended to us for accommodation. We booked an en-suite room for one night and we were very comfortable and slept well. I ate lunch in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed gluten-free fish and chips. It was a huge portion and the fish was very fresh. I would recommend it for a short stay but also for a nice meal.

What a beautiful bar/restaurant. We were in the area attending an evening wedding and popped into The White Bull for a drink. We were so impressed with the friendly staff, delicious menu and cosy atmosphere that we just had to come back for dinner. The meal was exquisite, fresh prodice and so tasty. Staff were lovely and the history of the pub and Roman ruins were amazing! I would definitely come back! Thank you to everyone at The White Bull Ribchester. Everything was first class

THE best pub in Ribchester! Fabulous freshly prepared home cooked food, great size portions and so delicious. All the staff are friendly and bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The main bar is comfortable, child and dog friendly as is the more “pub like” bar and you can eat in both. The “champagne lounge” is a beautiful multifunctional room. We love the White Bull, Julie and her team so much we decided to hold our small wedding reception there.
