"We stayed at this restaurant for one night and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. Our picturesque double room was beautiful and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed (although we missed having biscuits in the coffee bowl). The evening meal was delicious with a variety of options to choose from- I had the best cheesecake I have ever tasted and my partner quickly devoured the lamb dish. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy and friendly, we enjoyed sitting by the open fire and sipping our drinks. Breakfast was tasty and served with a lovely chat with the owners. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return when we are in the area again."

The Chickenburger Sunday roast was lacking in gravy, but the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. My wife received good service. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

We visited here from Essex as we stayed in the local cottages for Christmas. The cocktails here are amazing! As is the food. Would definitely recommend! All staff were friendly and helpful

We received a really warm welcome last night when we ate here for our evening meal. The menu is varied with the option of the Christmas menu alongside the usual a la carte. Food was tasty snd service was good. We would happily return again

Wonderful! The drinks, the food and the service all were absolutely excellent. I honestly can’t pick fault. The barman deserves special mention and his recommendation of a milk vodka hit the spot. Seafood pancake, leek and potato soup and lamb shanks were all devoured....We aren’t local but I’m sure we will make an effort to return.

Popped in for a pint after a walk in the area. Ended up staying for hours. This was due to the warm welcome and amazing hospitality by the dreadlocked barman. What an asset he was to this delightful pub. Cracking beer and lovely steak...and ale pie, and cheese and onion pie. All the staff were fabulous and that’s the main thing when running a pub. We’ll be back.

Food is gradually becoming Christmas hoardings at home, so back to the Bull for dinner. We both had the Haddock and Chips this time. Just superb. Accompanied by a very good white that just begs repeats. The fish, fresh as you like with a lovely...batter, nicely cooked chips and home made tartare sauce. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended. Well worth a diversion to find.

This is a lovely pub/restaurant with a cozy fireplace and a welcoming staff. It's in a great location, perfect for a scenic walk. The food is delicious, with a diverse menu to choose from. The bar offers a nice selection of drinks. The staff is attentive and remembers your order without having to be reminded. I'm certain there is a special communication among the team. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Visited here last min on new years eve with our grown up daughter. Staff were extremely friendly accommodating. We had lots of nye novelties on our table to keep us occupied. The food was tasty well presented didnt have to wait too...long either, the only complaint I have is the samphire on my halibut was rather difficult to eat as was rather like cardboard! The potato fish were lovely tho. So for starters, mains vokes vinos the bill was a nice surprise at too. Thank you all

with friends had visited a table on the line, it was reserved for us that we had when the place was busy. they received a warm greeting from bar and restaurant staff, many choices on the menu and drinks menu. the employees were very courteous when one of our guests asked for the free milk option to the main course. eating came in good time and each cure was well presented, good quality and decent size shares. highly recommended to start the fish sharing platter so a nice friendly place all our party will definitely visit again.
