Fantastic food and service as ever. Certainly the most consistent restaurant in the area. We usually go for the Sunday course deal however wanted to support the restaurant in the evening while it was quiet.

We recently visited The White Onion for a pre-Christmas lunch. As always, we had fantastic food and friendly, attentive service. The aperitifs, duck egg starter and ox cheeks main course were all simply delicious! We would highly recommend.

This is my third visit this year and it never disappoints. The staff are just wonderful. They cannot do enough for you. They make visiting a special occasion. You could not beat the food. The wine is good and reasonable. Not an issue but cocktails are expensive and not particularly impressive I will definitely be back. Lesley
