"Stayed one night as visiting nearby attraction. Room was small, bed was small, bathroom was small, tv was small however everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The milk had gone off in the little uht milk cartons and oddly we were only provided with one bath towel and one smaller towel. Sadly we didn’t discover these issues until the morning and as neither of us wanted to go and sort things in our pjs the host didn’t get the opportunity to rectify these issues. The meal we had in the restaurant was superb (sharing roast) and service of food and drinks excellent. You pay extra for breakfast, which we decided not to do so cannot comment. I would visit again for a meal and one night stopover but they would have to address the quality of their bedding as I suffered dreadfully as need to have good quality bedding (hubby was fine so accept it is just me and my sensitivity)."

That really was a delicious Sunday lunch had the sharing Roast plus cauliflower cheese, and asked for a box to take home as so substantial and lovely.

Great village pub with good atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Had a lovely meal there with family. Staff really friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure everyone was happy.

This is a great place to eat. We had soup and the curry for starters. These were full of taste. Mains 3 rib eye and the chicken. The steak were done to a turn. Huge plate of food with great taste. Best meal out since lockdown.

After promising reviews I was disappointed on arrival. There were several menus and it is hard to do such a broad range well. I ordered safe with fish and chips, which was ok. Others were more ambitious, only to be disappointed. Pies (too much soggy pastry), gammon (very tough). A bit disappointing really.

We have been waiting and waiting for an opportunity to eat out/in for far too long and what a truly awesome way to come back to hospitality. Food, service, environment and even the weather were all completely perfect today. Usually I’m all for constructive criticism but.. I’m not qualified to advise on how to improve such a brilliant operation. Superb.

6 Course tasting menu with a wine pairing. Fantastic evening, I missed the first one, but if the next one is as good as the second one, we will definitely be back. Each course was a delightful sight to the eye and every course tasted as good as it looked. The wine pairing complimented the course and that added to the experience. Well done to David and the team at the 3 horseshoes. This is definitely something Barton under Needwood needs a little bit more of. Kevin Michele

Absolutely immaculate. Clean and fresh. Plenty of car parking. Very surprised and pleased at finding welcome packs in the room containing orange juice muffins and cereal bars. Very flexible breakfast times and the food was sublime and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and welcoming and very obliging. When wife suggested something that wasn't on the menu the chef was very obliging. Portion sizes were generous. , so much so the wife could not finish her evening meal and they gladly supplied a doggy bag.. The bar was lovely, comfortable and full of charm and character. The beer was excellent. Dog friendly and the dogs were friendly. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Good loca...
