"Not an expert from North African cuisine, however, we think that timgad serves an excellent chicken couscous, lamb brooch and sausage (merquez.) their lamb mouse. (Lamb garter) is also recommended, but customers will have to ask for this dish in advance. . . probably takes more time to simmer. couscous dishes are a fairly large portion (for us.) many couscous and vegetable/sauce soup to pour on couscous. chicken is usually a thigh (I don't know if you can order white meat, that is, breast.) you can certainly ask; The manager is very friendly. apart from couscous, we usually command the merguez (saucisse)...very delicious. the lamb skewer we ordered is also good. the decor breathes the atmosphere of being in North Afrique. they even have Moroccan wine (pink) the dessert card includes at least ten choices. we ordered the lily coffee (coffee ice cream, coffee and a lot of whipped ... 8 euros) ... just delicious. judging by customers (a lot of local inhabitants) and tourists, we are not the only ones to think that it is an excellent restaurant. A must-see visit. To try absolutely."

so good that we visited him twice this week. food and really authentic recipes with a charming host. three out of four of us pre-ordered pastillos that were very great and delicious!! At the end of the meal, the owner offered us free specialty water-of-life, which we of course accepted. excellent restaurant all way!! highly recommended. View menu

I think we may not have ordered very well. We just went for the tajine and it was pretty disappointing. our entrance was tasty, we had the mixed tray. But there was nothing intriguing. While we were leaving the restaurant, I was able to see that what other people had looked much better than ours, so I think it just depends on what you order. The staff was pretty nice.

looking for a place with an atmosphere and a tasty cuisine, I fell on timgad. There was a table outside for 4 and a main dish and a very tasty dessert. I booked again for the fathers' party the next Sunday. the staff made us feel almost as if we were with family with a charming welcome and excellent service. I tried a selection of different dishes and just as good as the first visit. I would recommend anyone to try this place. to the pleasure of returning to August.

this restaurant has actually been mentioned to us by another high-end restaurant of figs, the particular in the same street, so. . . face, man is a smiling guy so friendly that it would be difficult not to feel welcome. the chefs are Moroccan / Algerian and the chicken tajine was beautiful, quality chicken cooked slowly with just the good flavors of lemon/olive. tender lamb skewer along with light and mellow couscous.Very nice interior and small garden in the back for warmer evenings. Can return there tonight if we can enter! I came back to try other menu items. ordered lamb couscous and lamb pins. There were enough couscous for 3 people and a bowl of vegetables delivered, plus the lamb stock. Beautifully cooked, the meat fell from the bone. The vegetables were delicious. You have to be very hungry or have a big appetite to finish a meal with couscous. desserts ate were honey pancakes and mint chocolate ice cream with mint cream. a coffee and an apple liquor have finished the meal very well. Unfortunately, we will now have to wait for our next vacation before we can eat again.

we chose the menu formula and between us we couldn't eat everything we brought. the food was beautifully prepared, tasty and varied in its flavors. the mixed grill was very well cooked, the succulent meat and tasty potatoes. the couscous with lamb skewers and sausages was a huge volume and once again beautifully cooked. the atmosphere was very pleasant and the servers (and the owner) fast and attentive. the formula system allows you to eat very good food here at a reasonable price. we assume that the food here can be of better quality than that of the square at only fifty meters, which is full of many tables. Go here for more individual attention.

"My girlfriend was riding a bike ride and one of our stops for the night was in Aigues-Mortes. our guide recommended the peacock bistro and we went to the city walls to locate it. it is found that we were in Aigues-Mortes on the same day as their annual celebration of the feasts of Saint-Louis, so the community was full of space and visitors. we managed to find the paou bistro in one of the side streets and even if we had no reservation, we had the chance to have the last table available for two. they do not offer paper menus because everything is written on some large portable black tables that are displayed so that you can make selections. our server took care of us quickly and we both ordered inputs and a glass of wine each. our French-language capabilities were sufficient to enable us to communicate effectively! We both selected local wines and they were very kind. a lot of bread was provided and we looked with wonder the restaurant filling up and the small team of servers took care of everyone. our meals went out in time and the presentation was very attractive. I ordered a lamb dish and my girlfriend ordered grilled local fish. Both meals were fantastic, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Vegetables were provided for both of us and I had potatoes with my lamb while my girlfriend had rice with her fish. We also ordered desserts and they were served quickly and were also delicious. As the evening went on, we noticed that it was a challenge for the servers to follow everyone, I suppose that because of the festival, it was probably more busy than usual but they managed to serve everyone with a smile even if they were a little overwhelmed. . we spent more than a week in france and we both agree that it was our best meal during this period!"
