"I'm very disappointed at todays Sunday lunch, We booked a table and arrived on time, We were shown to our table and placed our drinks order then joined the que for the Sunday roast, Then it all goes down hill, I can fully appreciate that take away orders being available but why should service stop for the in house diners ? I would say that the que had over forty people in it for quite some time when take away meals were being dished up, Surely for a better dining experience the take away meals should be prepared in the kitchen and let the the in house customers have a more comfortable visit"

Great service and tasty food! We had a wonderful time with friends. My son really enjoyed his ice cream with a ‘cornflake’ Will definitely return soon.

Much better than I expected! I've paid quite a bit more for a roast and not enjoyed it as much. Online booking was easy, I used chat to amend it too. The waitress was polite. Very impressed, thank you

This restaurant offers great value for money with friendly service and a variety of options for set menus. There is ample parking available and the sandwiches are a good portion size. I will definitely be returning. View menu

Never eat from anywhere else, the food is of a very high standard and the service is excellent, highly recommended, they can't do enough for you. They even cater for my pug, a try of meat and sausages and the whole family is taken care of, thankyou and keep up the good work ????

We arrived on time, and the waitress showed us to our table. When we went for our carvery, the turkey was carved with the skin still on, the parsnips were cooked still in their skins, the Yorkshire puddings were tough, and there was not much choice of vegetables. On the whole, dissapointing

Booked a table fir one o’clock but arrived early but no bother they found us a table. The waitress who served us was lovely her name was Cariad and she was a credit to the company. She said this is my second day but I must say she was very good. If she didn’t know something she went to find out . We will be back as the food is lovely View menu

Greeted by the manager who escorted us to our table The restaurant was clean, and during our visit, the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly after use. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food deck was clean, and the food was nicely cooked and presented. Our carvery meal was delicious. The restaurant is situated near Cardiff Airport, which is ideal for a pre-flight meal at a very reasonable price.

Had a later booking on the last evening of £6 offer and pay day so was a very busy evening. Couldn’t fault anything. We were seated quickly and were greeted by our waiter very shortly after. There was a little queue at the servers counter however this went quick. There was plenty of veg to choose from even for my picky children. And ample gravy and condiments. The food was of good quality and fresh. We didn’t stay for dessert due to the time however will definitely do so next time as there are lots of options I would like to try.

"I raved about this place in my last review but since then it appears to have changed. Firstly, I cant remember the chairs being so uncomfortable that they had 'scatter ' cushions for you to use if you needed to. Having had back surgery, they made it even worse for me, so did without them in the most uncomfortable chair ever. Now, to the main part of the review. The lovely cakes that I had raved about had disappeared to be replaced by a sorry looking load of bog standard cake. The poor girl who served us was nervous as it was her first day, we ordered pecan pie which came with cream, we asked if its pouring or thick, she had to ask, it was pouring so we asked if we could have ice cream instead, she had to ask. Anyway, we finally ordered our cake and coffee. When she brought the coffee, she spilled half of mine in the saucer and then asked if I wanted a different saucer....duh! she took the offending saucer and the spoon brought a saucer back, no extra serviette to wipe the bottom of the cup and NO SPOON! We were then served the cake and ice cream, which to be fair, was nice, until, halfway through I saw a hair on my friends plate, (she was not wearing her glasses). We knew instantly that it was not either of ours, I have shoulder length hair and her hair was in a bun! We called the poor young lady over and pointed it out, she asked if my friend wanted to change it...duh! Of course she did, she brought another and thankfully my friend shared it with me! The coffee was (flat white) was nice but after that catalogue of events I wont be going back. They do offer a range of snacks/lunches and people did seem to be enjoying them."
