"We were at the restaurant this evening. It was full (good that we had reserved a table). Excellent service, friendly, managed the full restaurant well, attentive staff. Nice atmosphere, although the name of the restaurant suggests (rightly) a rather Bavarian than an Italian decor. Nice selection of antipasti and we chose the fish that was recommended as the tip of the day: which we did not regret at all. If you are looking for a very good Italian restaurant, slightly outside of the centre, it is very close to the underground station Gern on the U1, just a couple of stations from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Easy to park, as well. Highly recommended. For 3 of us, we paid around 110 Euro in total, including drinks (beer, wine)."

Strange staff. Staff laughed at my face after I asked their portable ATM to pay my 15eur pasta? It seemed 15eur was not enough to use their ATM machine. Not sure about the reason for this as well as his bad manners which made the whole experience very strange.Food was not bad, but not terrific for the practiced prices.

I have been here countless times now and every time I have been impressed. The pasta dishes are always large and hot with fresh ingredients. The service is attentive with a nice Italian touch. The atmosphere is nice and charming. The lunch weekday special menu is extremely good value, with a salad and main (pizza or pasta) for about 6.50 - 8 euros.

This is one of our regular business lunch places in Munich; located in a nice neighbourhood, the Kurfuerst has its large share of regulars. The pleasant outdoor seatings, the cosy indoor area, - all with a slight touch of Italian elegance. Didn't know this italian restaurant until we stayed in a nearby hotel and looked for a proper diner. As we entered the trattoria we were warmly welcomed by the staff and got a table. The service was great and he menu is not too big but gives you lots of choices for all tastes. The food which we ordered was of superiour quality, absolutely delicious. The seating is a bit claustrophibic but on the other hand that adds to the trattoria feeling. If you want something quiet, this may not be for you, but we still managed to talk a lot, so it is not too noisy. Will come back for sure, next time i am around.
