"If you are looking for a relaxed coffee or a beautiful afternoon tea served in charming surroundings, then this is the place to visit. The staff are attentive whilst remaining unobtrusive, service is pleasant and you are served with the utmost courteousy. The shop sells beautiful and unusual jewelry, beautiful glass wear and paintings and prints. The Welsh love spoons are charming and made to order, I ordered one for the birth of my Granddaughter and Linda, (owner) made sure it arrived in time for Christmas, even though I had ordered at the last minute. Customer service is the order of the day and I would highly recommend both the tea room and shop."

A very nice tea room cafe with friendly service, freshly cooked food and what must have been the best corn beef pie in town.

Cramped area at the back of the shop over priced I felt over £6 for small latte and cake. Waitress kept hovering and whisked away plate as soon as finished. Made me feel uncomfortable. Won't visit again.

My friends and I met up for afternoon coffee and cake, very nice too. We sat down stairs, very relaxing and informal. Teas, coffees, hot chocolates lovely. The teacake and scone jam and cream very tasty. View menu

A lovely little tea room, serving delicious freshly prepared food. My friends and I had a light lunch and can thoroughly recommend the hot Italian breads, as well as the creamy carrot and coriander soup. Nice decor, very comfortable seats, with very friendly service.

Lovely Tea Room and Cafe on the main st in Monmouth. Had an Italian bread which was a bit like a Pannini but lighter and so well presented. Staff were lovely and the Filter coffee was some of the best I have ever had, no bitterness at all. Will have one of their lovely cakes next time !!

Not the place to visit with young children unless you are blessed with a very thick skin. Young waitress was exceptionally nice but the one in her 60's would curdle milk from 50 yards. Practically thrown out after spending almost £25 on lunch said she needed the table but there was only our family there and the children were happily eating ice cream. Not a nice experience and one we won't repeat. View menu

We didn't stay more than a few minutes as the waitress was beyond rude. Obviously I was very unwelcome with my son and my enquiry about a high chair was met with a blunt terse no. She demanded to know if we wanted food before we'd even opened the menu, and as we asked about afternoon tea meaning just a scone and some tea and we're told no you have to give 24 hours notice. We were obviously an inconvenience so moved on.

Charming Tea Room in Monmouth. a group of us stopped off here for a late lunch on Saturday ,after roaming the streets of monmouth we came upon this lovely Tearoom . the Upstairs is delightful with Chandeliers and panelled walls. The waitress was very friendly and the food was served on lovely china and very well presented. We all had different, ranging from Sandwiches, Quiche, Pasta etc. All was lovely as were the cakes and scones. Would definately recommend.
