"Ate here before a concert as we were staying at the hotel. Our deal included a 2 course meal each from a fixed menu with a choice of 4 starters, 6 mains and a few desserts. We chose to share a starter and a pud, plus have a main course each. The portion sizes were fairly large so this was a good choice, and it se emend like the staff were used to people doing this so no problem in getting extra cutlery etc. The food. Was well cooked and tasty and good value for the price paid. Suggest booking in advance as we saw customers being turned away."

Service was terrible. Staff were rude. Would not pay the money to return to this restaurant

Very handy for the hydro but getting pricey. Used to do a better value pre show menu. £14 for a basic pizza with no sides is a lot, as is £4 for fries. Service slow. Not a great choice of foods.

Service was very slow despite it being quite quiet. Also, we were asked if we were ready for our main courses ages after finishing starters and it still took a further 20mins to come out! Just ok, prefer just attending for drinks View menu

Really can’t remember the name of the guy who looked after our table but he was great! Great banter, great service and really helpful. Food was lush as always! Only place to go for dinner before the football , wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Food was lovely not a massive choice but what we had was really good! Pizza burger! Drink on the other hand is expensive! £9 for a large glass of wine! Think I’ll re think where we go before a gig next time! Nice place, lovely setting but drink way too expensive!

The food was outstanding and fresh but it was so busy that the staff were all running about and it was very difficult to get someone to get another drink, the Grill its self was lovely but there wasnt the biggest choice of food an definitely not enough dessert options View menu

Went to the Village for food before the Lewis Capaldi gig at the Hydro. Food was lovely, staff where friendly and prompt and the atmosphere was great. Scenic 10 minute walk to the Hydro so it was very handy and went back for drinks afterwards. Would highly recommend. X

Food was expensive for what it was, we only had chicken strips and chips, food was lovely but not worth the money, service was awful waited 20mins before ordering food which I had to find someone to order, waited far too long for our drinks again had to ask for them and the order was wrong so had to wait longer, shame because it’s a nice place pitty service was awful and too expensive
