"vinaiolo is located in the stein str and this is only worth a visit with great shops and some excellent small restaurants. vinaolo is a jewel in this street. enter a friendly, well-lit room furnished in traditional style. the tables are well covered and there is no feeling of haste or cramped seating - this is old-fashioned quality and style. we were welcomed and taken place and the menu was a joy. it was limited with seasonal ingredients, but was very balanced. we chose the 4-course tasting menu that was stunning. starting with rindercarpaccio with parmesan paste, which is excellently spiced. followed by a small pasta and bean dish that had deep aromen and texture. it was then balanced by duck with potato slices and finally rounded with an excellent yoghurtterrine with fresh fruits. the balance of the aromen was stunning and this was complemented by an excellent wine card. we paid 54 euro each for the menu and 38 for the wine, i.e. a total of 154 euro. the service was stunning, eating excellent and it has rewarded and much more. perfect! !"

the highlight of this place is more the wine card than eating. the dishes were quite cheap and very well prepared, but we had the feeling that they were too much trying to combine ingredients that simply did not fit together and did not fit their aromes together. The atmosphere is great, as is the service. View menu

we have chosen this hotel due to the many great reviews, but honestly it did not meet our expectations. the place and the atmosphere are wonderful, welcoming and promising. the tortelli, which I took as a starter, were delicious, al dente prepared and well presented. the great disappointment was the main court. I ordered the thunfischsteak tagliata, which was overcooked, was not delicious at all and was unsatisfied at the end.

a change to our usual Italian in a few and we were very impressed by vinaiolo. a fairly short menu, but the food was excellent, from the risotto with burrata to the fantastic strozzapreti to one of the best calfs I've ever eaten. the wine card was extensive as you would expect, and the prices were not bad. the service started slowly and it took a while until he warmed up, but at the end our main waiter was excellent. I liked the interieur, although it was not so comfortable in the heat. but will come back.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
