"have been here for drinks several times and the staff and the atmosphere has always been fantastic! both the bar and the restaurant are consistently busy, and with such a wide range of drinks and delicious food, you can understand why! had one of the best burgers i’ve had in a very long time (cheese bacon), as well as the caesar salad which was amazing! definitely recommend coming and checking it out!"

Really nice old fashioned pub. Went to chat over a beer which was great. Food menu looks comprehensive pub food but not eaten there yet so can't offer any advice. Plenty of room in rear car park and nice seating area outside

I had a great experience at this charming pub. Despite being crowded, the bartender Phillip went out of his way to assist us because my wife was in a wheelchair. He noticed our struggle to order, so he came over to our table and took care of everything for us. He made our visit very smooth and enjoyable. Thank you, Phillip!

"Re opened, refurbished and back with a bang! A classic thatched country pub which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to more than its former glory, with new owners and new management. It now features a wonderful and sizeable pub garden with stunning views over the Cambridgeshire countryside with the quaint addition of Highland Cows who seem to enjoy watching the customers! Having been for drinks and food now on a couple of occasions, the menu is sophisticated, tasty with plenty of variety. If you're enjoying a drink in the garden, for nibbles, I highly recommend the cheese fritters they compliment a cool glass of Prosecco perfectly. There is an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails on offer. Inside the pub, it's all olde world charm but with a modern twist and as much I love the warm weather, I almost can't wait to see a roaring fire in the two fireplaces! The staff are friendly and welcoming it's the sort of pub I'd be happy to go into on my own for a light lunch or just a drink. I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch which I've heard good things about already from those who have been! Considering it's a whole new team of people, the service understandably was a little bit slow as they were learning the ropes. However, on my last visit, I was impressed by how much slicker it was they're obviously fast learners. Can't wait to go back and support this quality pub/restaurant."
