"The selection of whiskeys is really good, even though the bar is right on the Royal Mile. The number of places is very limited, so from afternoon onwards nothing is possible without a reservation. Amazing décor . Nice stuff. Only went there for beer and fish n chips of course. But..... Immediately after we had eaten they took our plates and made us pay.

We ordered the salmon here. The salmon tasted good but it was £29 for a very small portion, maybe 3oz at most. The staff wasn't overly friendly or helpful except to move us around to accommodate a larger group that never arrived.

The food was excellent. We ordered the Fish and Chips and Steak pie, both of which were delicious. On separate occasions, we also sampled two flights of Whisky. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with live music every night at 10pm. A great place to hang out.
