Lovely old inn with a huge garden surrounded by woods. Very good modern menu, better than normal pub grub, but still not to expensive. Selection of ales. Good sized car park. Service: 5 Location: 5

We attended a wedding and reception nearby so The Windmill was a superb first choice. The room in the courtyard exceeded expectations along with the fabulous fresh ingredient breakfast. Wonderful atmosphere! The service and food were outstanding! Our group of twenty received a warm welcome. From start to finish, both the service and food were exceptional. The meals were hot and delicious, and everyone loved their selections. The service was fantastic, even with the Inn bustling with other diners, and everyone appeared to be happy. I wanted to treat my mother-in-law to a nicer dining experience for Sunday dinner, and The Windmill certainly met our expectations. Both my husband and his mum can be quite particular when it comes to food, but they both absolutely loved their lamb dinner. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was exceptional. Yesterday, we celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at the windmill, and everything was fantastic from start to finish! The food was excellent, the setup was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly hardworking and friendly throughout the day. We would not hesitate to recommend their wedding services or any events here. Thank you for everything; we had a wonderful day, just like our guests did!

We used to visit regularly, making the trek from Wetherby to this charming village pub on foot. Unfortunately, we stopped going after our dog passed away, but now we have a new furry family member and decided to visit today for a pint and a meal. The service at the bar was friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, the beer was well-maintained, and the beer garden is beautiful. Cheers to that! Prost!

Charming countryside pub with a genuine atmosphere. The accommodations include a spacious room located in the historic bottle store, featuring two levels: a sitting area and bathroom on the lower level, with a large bedroom upstairs. This layout may pose a challenge for elderly guests, as there’s only one window facing the road. As for the food and drinks, the full English breakfast is fantastic, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate requests. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 4. View menu
