"We had the loveliest weekend staying at Winyards Gap Inn all the staff are brilliant (especially the new manager, who is just lovely and the food and drink was top notch in addition to a great range of beer and cider, there are a fair few alcohol free options too. Inside the pub is lovely and cosy, and there's sheltered outdoor seating and an incredible beer garden too, with the most stunning views. I could have sat there all day! The room was very comfortable, and all areas are dog friendly our little dog had a lovely time too. Breakfast was great, and a special mention for the chef who makes the best scrambled eggs I've had in a long time. One thing that would be nice would be if a little more information on the local area could be provided in the rooms our signal was pretty poor and the pub WiFi didn't quite stretch to where we were staying (although in many ways that was quite nice! so we had to be fairly tactical when it came to sitting down and deciding how to spend each day a guide book or a few little pamphlets could have helped a lot! Overall though, I'd be back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for such a lovely weekend!"

This is a fantastic find! It's an excellent spot for families and friends with children and dogs to gather. There's plenty of space, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The views are beautiful, and there are lovely walks nearby.

This is a fantastic pub, especially on a sunny day when the views from the garden are breathtaking. The food is delicious, although a wider selection for vegan and vegetarian options would be appreciated. Dogs are welcome both inside and outside.

A great visit. The food was excellent and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Seemed nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome. It has changed very much since our last visit, it has been refurbished and has a very cosy atmosphere.

We spent the weekend here, and all I can say is wow! The pub is absolutely stunning and incredibly inviting. The accommodations are beautiful, clean, and have everything you need. The views from this place are amazing! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I visited for lunch on a Saturday with a friend, and I couldn't find anything to criticize! The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious and offered fantastic value for the price. One side of the restaurant had a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with sofas and a log burner, while the other side featured a lovely rustic dining area with breathtaking views of the Somerset countryside. Overall, I would rate the service and location both as 5 stars. Hotel highlights: Amazing views and excellent value!

The restaurant boasts a lovely atmosphere and stunning views, making it a wonderful choice for a romantic evening. However, I was disappointed with the food. The burger was overwhelmed by excessive rose harissa sauce, which didn’t work well for me. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoyed my pasta dish. As for drinks, I ordered a non-alcoholic Guinness, but it didn't taste good. Fortunately, the staff were very understanding and provided me with a different drink. Overall, it’s a great spot for the ambiance and views, even if the food left something to be desired.
