"This was my first visit to Brassica Restaurant and after all the recommendations that I had heard I did expect something special. The service was attentive and cannot be faulted. We had dietary restrictions in our party, a Coeliac and a Vegan. The menu choice was interesting but limited. The reality when the food was brought was a disappointment, whilst it was nicely presented it did little to justify the high prices that are charged for the main dishes. Describing a dish as 'Organic Pork Shoulder ' is misleading... This would be better described as 'Thin slices of Organic Shoulder served cold with with tonnato and cornichions. ' Whilst the Steak Eaters were well served with a very nice Organic Angus Steak and The Vegan was served with a Violet Aubergine Caponata, though good, the general feeling was 'Underwhelmed '. The Vegetable sides at £10 per shot were quite literally a small side plate with a pauper 's portion, not sufficient to 'share ' at the table. If you have deep pockets and are prepared to accept pretty standard but adequate fare then this may be the place for you. Perhaps a rethink on side vegetables and menu is in order."

Came here for my birthday meal based on the excellent reviews on here, in the echo and various 'best restaurants in Dorset ' lists online. It lived up to the hype! We had the pork and cod for mains, and gooseberry pavlova for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was excellent and it wasn 't too loud or packed inside either. Would definitely recommend Service: Dine in View menu

Three of us went to this restaurant because it was recommended to us. The main course which was supposed to contain cod costing £24 was tasty but it was more like a starter consisting of a lettuce leaf, a dollop of mayonnaise and a moderate number of chickpeas. We could not see any pieces of fish. I do not mind paying £24 but I would expect something more than a starter! Service: Dine in

This restaurant is outrageously expensive. We ordered two steaks and asked for pepper sauce, but they didn't have it. We also had rocket salad, fries, one scoop of ice cream, espresso coffee, and a cognac. The total cost was £120, which is incredibly high. I would recommend staying away from this place. The average cost per person is around £50-60. The food was mediocre, the service was okay, and the atmosphere was lacking.
